Personal Mission Statement

Personal Mission Statement
Overview

A personal mission statement allows me to establish my goals and what is important to me.  This mission statement will capture my vision and promote focus for the future.

I will live by these principals in the six aspects of my life below:  Integrity, honesty, humility, faith and respect.  There are four types of management that will be essential to happiness and success in my life: Time, Financial, Anger, and Expectation management.

Family / Personal

My career may be important but family comes first.  I will do whatever it takes to be the best husband and father in the world.  Financial and time management is essential for happiness and success in this aspect of life.  Financial management will ensure that we can live and give like no one else.  Time management will be essential to ensuring that we have enough time to enjoy each other throughout life.

The success of our children begins with the success of our marriage.  I will work with Callean to get through any situation to ensure a good outcome.  Will never go to bed in an argument.

I will find enjoyment in my personal life through God, spending time with my family, watching my children grow, knowing my wife still loves me, running, cycling and swimming.

My most important future contribution to my family will be to give my children the tools to live a Godly life, make sound moral decisions, finish college debt free, have the best knowledge in financial and time management, and to prosper as productive members to society.

Professional

I will continue to be a professional and expand upon my skills in software/web development and analysis whether it be geospatial or all-source intelligence.   I will never stop learning.  I will continue to attend any training and conduct self improvement / development studies to ensure that I stay on the cutting edge of technologies and best business practices and standards.  As an officer in the Army National Guard I will continue to lead Soldiers and mold them to become the best Soldiers in the Army through mentorship and expecting nothing less than the standards in Army doctrine.

My success is not measured by my position but rather than my ability to support my family.

Spiritual

Attend church on a consistent basis and live life as God wants us to.  Above all else love God.  I will continue to grow as a person and improve on faith based principals such as forgiveness and giving.  Pray, Pray, Pray!!!!

Physical

Eat a clean and healthy diet, get an adequate amount of sleep daily, and continue to exercise on a consistent basis.  My body is a temple and I have to take care of what God gave me.  Promote good health to Callean, the girls, and the people around me.

Mental

Anger and expectation management pertain to this aspect more than others. Be better of handling situations that occur in my life. Learn from my mistakes and just know that these situations will just make me stronger.  Do not set my mind on certain expectations because it often leads to disappointment and anger.

Social

Meet more people and make more friends. Surround myself with winners. Be nicer to people. Do not judge people based on their cover.
